Matt Purdon is a peer-reviewed good egg* from Southend-on-Sea with 10 years’ experience in the creative industry.

Starting his career in 2013, Matt has held many roles in countless sectors; starting as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, he joined boutique full-service creative agency Theobald Fox in 2016 as a design intern, progressing to lead Creative Strategist in 2020. Since February 2023, Matt has been a founding director and strategic lead of Hornbeam & Co., a communications-focused impact accelerator working in the environmental space.

He is fascinated by people, culture, psychology, what motivates us and why we love and connect with the things we do. His practice is dedicated to using the ‘tools’ of advertising, marketing and entertainment to bring about lasting positive impact.
